Transcripts stay in this Chrome profile. They are not encrypted. Download important conversations before removing the extension or clearing its storage.
Off by default. Enabling never uploads a transcript. Each Summarize click asks permission to send only that conversation to SidebySpeak and OpenAI. SidebySpeak does not store or log this content; saved summaries stay here. Disabling cancels pending requests but does not delete local summaries.
OpenAI may retain processing data for up to 30 days under its separate retention rules. Cancellation cannot recall text already sent.
Auto-save must be enabled in the translator. Use Stop before closing the translator to finish saving. Audio is never saved.
